Patty is anywhere from sixteen to twenty days along in her pregnancy (a rat's gestation period is eighteen to twenty-three days long). She is doing very well!
Peppermint is absolutely huge! After tomorrow, she will be nineteen days along. I think she will have a bigger litter than Patty. She, too, is doing very well!
That's exciting! Did you have any babies yet?
ReplyDeleteNot yet, but both of my girls built elaborate nests in their cage! I expect that within two days one of them will have babies. Peppermint is absolutely HUGE today and won't come out of her nest. She will probably be the first one to have a litter :-)
